“Having a child is surely the most beautifully irrational act that two people in love can commit.” - Bill Cosby
When I was a kid, and I mean 5 years and up, there was always a date with breakfast that I hardly ever missed. Well, it's supposed to be the most important meal of the day. So the usual would be either cereal, toast, or yoghurt and a glass of orange or apple juice. Yes, a very healthy breakie and it's good to start 'em young.
That's 'cause as a baby grows, different nutrients and grains are required in comparison to adults. I don't quite remember what I was given at that phase (baby - toddler), but I'm pretty sure they're good stuff for toddlers. Have ya heard of Olvarit? No? Let me have the honor then. *chuckles*
Olvarit is the baby food brand labeled by Nutricia, one of the largest Dutch baby food manufacturer. Workin' together with nutritionists, they developed a formula that suits toddlers. It contains the right daily amount of salt, sugar and fiber that a toddler needs, which are slightly lower than what we adults need. Top with that, this formula is rich in Vitamin C and iron which are good for the immune system, and Vitamin D and calcium for strong bones and teeth.
Recently, Olvarit launched a new line of Breakfast Cereals focusin' on toddlers. The toddler flakes range offers 3 different flavors : "Choco Balls" (Yummy! One can never go wrong with choco!), "Banana Stars" and "Honey Rings".
